Only Your Eyes Are Unclosed

Filmed in locations around a city, Swansea, one hour before sunrise, with a nod to Dylan Thomas, from whom the title comes. Sixty locations are selected by dividing a map into sections, radiating from the geographical centrepoint; due north starts the hour and the film works its way around like the hands of a clock, each location takes the viewer a minute closer to dawn. A subtitled narrative accompanies each scene. Despite the romantic construction of the work these texts are only part fiction, built on real names, occurrences and observations.
