A Setting

The film is shot in just two scenes. The opening sequence is a bleak landscape, we watch and wait for action. Slowly we realise that we are looking at the view from a window. It is dusk and as the light outside fails we become aware of a reflection, the window becomes a mirror. As the first scene comes to an end the brighter lights of the interior of the caravan reveal a solitary figure and obliterate the landscape beyond. The final shot is the caravan from a distance as darkness takes over the view.
