In the decades following the 1967 partial decriminalisation of homosexuality, persecution intensified. Punitive class-based prosecution, political and religious moral judgement, the HIV and AIDS crisis and finally the inhibition of information under Section28. These stories search for connection. They are about loyalties, fear and the strength of family bonds - as much as they are tales of blending in, mimicking and deception.
